BRIAN AKINO
Brian Akino is a cyber security expert with over 15 years of experience in all domains of information security and holds numerous IT certifications including CISSP, Security+, GCFA, CCNP, CCDP, and ITILv3 as well as high-level government security clearances and public trusts. Most recently, Brian was a leader in a newly established Cyber Warfare Operations Squadron for the Air Force. Prior to that Brian has held various cyber security and infrastructure roles as a military member in the United States Air Force.. Recognizing his extensive infrastructure and security background, Brian was hired to build and manage a cyber security program for a well-known Fortune 20 company.

Leveraging his professional experiences and lessons learned, Brian and his business partner Barry later founded the cyber security consulting firm, Absolute Cyber Defense, LLC which focused on penetration testing, application assessments, CTF/Sales Labs and IT regulatory compliance for small businesses. During this time Brian operated as the company’s CEO
and provided consulting services to over a dozen small businesses. Consortium Networks contracted Absolute Cyber Defense to oversee a large sales lab; which enabled Consortium to provide value added training and sales demo on numerous occasions.

Since transitioning into the private sector, Brian has enabled over 20 training sessions to both commercial and government organizations, and has performed numerous penetration tests and red team engagements.
BARRY MORGAN
Barry Morgan is a cyber security expert with over 20 years of experience in all domains of information security and holds numerous IT certifications including CISSP, Security+, and CEH as well as high-level government security clearances and public trusts. Most recently, Barry lead the Consortium Networks & Offensive-Security and Training services. Prior to that Barry held various cyber security roles both as a military member in the USAF, and later as a civilian consultant for several government agencies including USEPA, SSA, and NC
Medicaid/Medicare to name a few. Recognizing his forensics and malware-analysis expertise, Barry was hired to build and manage red-team operations for a well-known Fortune 5 company.

Leveraging his professional experiences and lessons learned, Barry later founded the cyber security consulting firm, Hackingbit, LLC which focused on penetration testing, application assessments, and IT regulatory compliance for small businesses. During this time Barry operated as the company’s CEO / Lead Analyst and provided consulting services to over a dozen small businesses. One year later, Consortium Networks contracted Hackingbit to oversee several cyber-security projects; a partnership which eventually lead to Consortium
Networks acquiring Hackingbit and rebranding its services as a value-added offering for Consortium members. Upon completion of the Consortium Networks contract, Barry co- founded Absolute Cyber Defense, a value-added consulting, training, and service provider cyber company which he still co-operates today.

Since transitioning into the private sector, Barry has provided over 50 training sessions to both commercial and government organizations, spoke at several security conferences, and lead or supported over 30 major red-team engagements and penetration tests.
